I am working with my son on dressing himself. We can get the pullover shirts on and off and pants up and down. But those pesky buttons and snaps are the hard part. I have looked so many places for items to help on this and after some research I decided to make my own. It isn't pretty, but it is effective.
Items needed:
Brown felt
felt of several colors
Buttons
needle, thread and scissors
Draw out your design- Mine was a tree. I used brown felt. Using other colors I cut out leaves.
Sew your buttons on to the tree in your desired areas.
Then cut out your leave and cut slits big enough to go over any button.
Let child place the leaves on the trees.
Time to go, learn and always have fun!!!!
