Hi! My name is Kristy. I am a teacher. I have a masters in Special Education. I have been teaching since 2007. Currently I teach at a residential treatment facility. My kids live, eat and go to school at the same location. I have students from kindergarten up to twelfth grade. It is very interesting. The ages of each class varies. Therefore I must be able to provide learning to not only fit each child's individual learning style and ability level, as well as provide learning that is age appropriate.
I am also a mom. My son just turned a year old. It is the best feeling in the world to have him in my life. It is amazing to watch him learn and grow daily. He provides me a lot of opportunities to teach as and learn from him as well.
